Terrain Warning System
PULL UP!
The Enigma/Voyager/Odyssey comes with a comprehensive terrain awareness and warning system. Terrain data is stored on the SD card located in the front of the EFIS panel and is 1km resolution. 90m resolution terrain data will be available in chunks for select areas.

Awareness |
Terrain awareness is provided via the use of terrain data as the moving map background. Also, the Terrain Look-ahead screen item (pictured at left) allows you to view your projected flight path relative to the terrain. Yellow is 1,000’ or less below your current altitude, and Red is at or above your present position. |

Warning |
The terrain warning setup menu allows you to set up your terrain warning system. It is setup to disable automatically in the landing mode by detecting RPM below a specified value or by detecting flap position in the landing mode. As with all alarm events in the Enigma, you can select on-screen warnings, voice alerts and external alarm lights. |
